Comedian-Led Trade Show Training

Project

Go to a trade show floor, and you will quickly spot booth after booth where the staff talk only to their coworkers and/or stare at their phones. Either those employees don’t know how to engage with potential customers, or they don’t feel comfortable or motivated to do so.

There is a definite need for companies to train the employees that they send to conferences. Together, my business partner and I published a book on beginning conversations and qualifying leads at trade shows. That book gave us the thought leadership presence to start offering our training services to our customers.

Although I added a page to our existing business website about our new service, we felt that the training program offering would benefit from having a website of its own. Sans advertising, the one-page dedicated site I built receives 18x more traffic than its counterpart page on our main website.
