Project
In the many years of working and reporting at trade shows, my business partner and I couldn’t help but notice that most vendors had the completely wrong approach to expos. They would spend fortunes on sponsoring the show, hiring companies to build them beautiful booths, and picking out coolest giveaways, but they completely failed in one regard: teaching their staff how to properly man a booth.
My partner and I decided to use our experience to create a book on the subject. We brainstormed together, he wrote the text, and then handed it off to me to take the lead on the rest of the production.
I edited the copy, designed the cover, and hired and directed an artist to the create the internal illustrations. I was also responsible for the design layout for the book, which we self-published in paperback, PDF, and ebook formats.
